Zomato, one of India’s leading multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery companies, has launched a new platform designed specifically for companies- Zomato for Enterprise.
The new platform, as per Deepinder Goyal, CEO, Zomato, minimises the hassle and solves for food expense management of companies, leading to a simplified reimbursement process.
Very often, it is observed that employees order food in bulk during office parties, birthday celebrations, fun fridays, and many other occasions, all of which is eventually paid by the company. Once the due amount is paid by the employee, he or she, as per company policies, is required to send the invoice of the same to the company so as to get reimbursed for the same. All of this, in multiple scenarios turns out to be not just time-taking but also burdensome.
Hence, with the new offering- Zomato for Enterprise, Zomato is likely to bring an ease in such processes by offering employees to bill their business orders directly to their employer, without having to pay.
In the launch post for the same on LinkedIn, Goyal mentioned, “Excited to introduce Zomato for Enterprise (ZFE), a platform designed for companies to solve food expense management. A lot of Zomato orders placed by corporate employees are business-related and need to be reimbursed by the company. The reimbursement process is cumbersome and time-consuming.”
He added, “With ZFE, employees can simply bill their business orders directly to their employer, without having to pay. Companies can use ZFE to add employees, set budgets, define ordering rules, and much more. ZFE adds convenience to your employees, while we take care of the rest – with complete transparency. Over 100 top companies are already using ZFE. We are grateful for their feedback, which has helped shape this initiative.”
