Coca-Cola, Google, Zomato & More: How Brands Rode The Wave Of India’s ICC Champions Trophy Win

In a nail-biting match between India and New Zealand on March 9, 2025, team India emerged as the Champions in the final ICC Champions Trophy 2025 by defeating New Zealand by four wickets. The final tournament was held in Dubai International Stadium.

As soon as the victory was sealed, celebrations erupted across India, with millions of fans taking to the streets, bursting crackers, waving flags, and chanting in joy. Social media was flooded with congratulatory messages from several celebrities. Major brands also joined the crowd in the celebration to honour the team’s triumph.

Cricket has long been a marketing goldmine for brands, and over the years, companies have reinvented their strategies to stay relevant in the game. From traditional sponsorships to innovative digital campaigns and organising contests, brands are inclined towards moment marketing – leveraging key moments during matches to create viral content that resonates with audiences instantly.

Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube have become an essential ground for brands with creatives, memes, and emotional storytelling, making cricket marketing more dynamic.

Here’s how brands celebrated India’s victory in style:
