After building, growing and running one of India’s largest social media agencies- Mirum India: A VML Company (formerly Social Wavelength) for close to 15 years and calling it quits within the past one year, the trio of Mihir Karkare, Sanjay Mehta and Hareesh Tibrewala have rejoined forces to launch- Meru Life.
As explained by Karkare in a LinkedIn post, Meru Life is a first of its kind digital ecosystem focused on enabling individuals aged 55-70 (who the company is calling Active Seniors) to lead a vibrant and purposeful second inning.
“I believe that Meru Life has a significant opportunity to positively impact millions of Active Seniors, and in the process build a long term sustainable business- focusing on both Dhan and Dua/ Income and Aashirwad,” he stated in the post.
At Meru Life, joining Karkare who will be serving the role of Chief Executive Officer are his former acquaintances- Tibrewala who has now come onboard as Co-Founder, Strategic Advisor and Investor; Saurabh Garg who is joining Meru Life as Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer and Mehta as Investor.
According to Tibrewala, Meru Life will be a digital ecosystem which will provide different kinds of services and solutions to Active Seniors, right from helping them to do better financial planning, health management, giving them a sense of purpose, building a community, helping them find more friends and much more.
