In India, wedding seasons are always looked forward to. Whether it is a love or an arranged marriage, we Indians know how to make it a memorable one.
From deciding the menu to getting your clothes ready, we go all the way and beyond. The chaos is clearly there and the happiness is unimaginable.
Not all want an extravagant affair. Many prefer a simpler version. But the one thing that remains constant is the wedding invite. People choose from traditional wedding invites to e-invites through WhatsApp. No matter the format, an invite is always a must.
A couple from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu went viral for their unusual wedding invite. They took the creative quota with the invite up a notch and designed it to look like just a tablet strip.
The tablet strip/wedding invite reads in bold letters “Ezhilarasan and Vasanthakumari Wedding”.
But many may wonder, why a tablet strip? The couple did explain the same on the card. The groom Ezhilarasan is a pharmacist from the Tiruvannamalai district and the bride Vasanthakumari is a nurse from Genji in the Villupuram district.
The wedding card, includes the date, address, DJ party, reception details, and everything related to the wedding.
The couple not only designed the card to look like a tablet strip but ensured that the other components were also included. For instance, the parents’ names were creatively written under ‘Manufactured by’. The wedding invite includes a special warning as well. It reads, “all friends and relatives don’t miss my wedding function”.
As soon as the card was shared on Twitter, people came in with hilarious reactions to the card. Ironically, many of the people who commented were from the medical field themselves.
This is epic 😂😂
Don’t mistake it for a tablet 💊

Thoughtful initiative. Out of box thinking to explore creative means of invitation and avoiding heavy expenditure otherwise likely to be incurred on invitations. Good Luck and wishes for the new beginning.
