With a little more than a fortnight left for the world’s largest advertising and creative communications festival– Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, to kickstart at its usual spot- Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France, the first shortlists for 3 out of 34 categories have been announced and three of India’s ad agencies have made their cut.
The three categories for which the shortlists have been announced today include- Innovation, Titanium and Glass: The Lion For Change.
And while India has not secured a shortlist in the first two categories, there have been 3 entries from India’s two network agencies and one independent agency which have made the cut in Glass: The Lion For Change category.
Here are the three entries with which India opened its shortlist account at Cannes Lions 2024:
1. Leo Burnett India x Lay’s- Project Farm Equal
2. Tgthr x Reckitt Benckiser- Harpic India Loocator App- #BEFREETOPEE
3. McCann Worldgroup x ESAF Small Finance Bank- Dabba Savings Account
Cannes Lions will be announcing the next set of shortlists for this year’s coveted awards gala in categories such as Audio and Radio, Outdoor, Print and Publishing, Print Craft and Health and Wellness on June 15.
That being said, the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity, this year, is scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 21.
