Stellantis India has elevated Shailesh Hazela to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD). He will succeed Aditya Jairaj, who will be relocating to the United States.
Hazela and Jairaj will transition through mid-July. He has an experience of over 28 years across diverse sectors including automotive, telecommunication and railways.
In his last role at the company, Hazela served as VP- GPSC India and Asia Pacific Region at Stellantis from September 2022 to June 2024. Prior to this, he was associated with Bombardier Transportation India as Director – Procurement and Supply Chain from September 2018 to September 2022.
He also worked for Airtel for more than four years where he started as Head-Global Material Management in October 2013 and later was elevated to CSCO in January 2017. Previously, Hazela was associated with General Motors for more than eight years. He started as Global Commodity Manager in October 2004 and later on promoted to Director-Global Supply Chain in July 2011.
He also served the role of Senior Manager at Tata Cummins for more than five years and also worked as Engineer at Britax Motherson for almost two years.
