As Goafest 2026 got underway at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon on Wednesday, Day 1 witnessed strong participation from across the advertising, marketing, and media industry. The opening day of The ABBY Awards 2026 powered by The One Show saw winners announced in the Media ABBY and Publisher ABBY categories.
Jagran Prakashan emerged as the Publisher of the Year at the Publisher ABBY Awards 2026, securing a total of 46 points and winning 8 metals, including 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze, and 1 Merit.
The Hindu Group secured the second position with 22 points, taking home 4 metals comprising 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Merit. Meanwhile, ABP finished third with 14 points and 2 metals, including 1 Gold and 1 Silver.
