Bajaj Electricals has appointed Vishal Chadha as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Consumer Products division. Before this, he worked with Kohler Co. as the Managing Director – India and South Asia for two years, from November 2021 to January 2024 and in this role, he was leading the kitchen and bath business.
His tenure at Kohler gave him a comprehensive understanding of all business aspects, further underscored his proficiency to enhance profitability and elevate the brand to a top-tier position in the industry through strategic B2B initiatives and expansive retail strategies, Bajaj Electricals highlighted.
Prior to this, Chadha was associated with Snapdeal in two positions. He joined the brand as a Senior Vice President in September 2014 till October 2016. He then served as the Chief Business Officer from November 2016 to November 2019.
Previously, he worked with Samsung Electronics as the Advisor- Mobile and IT Business from July 2013 to January 2014.
Previous, he was associated with Nokia where he transitioned through positions. He began his journey as Sales Head – North and East India. In this role he headed the sales for both regions for high-end multimedia devices (smartphones), from March 2004 to June 2005. He became the Business Manager – Imaging Business Unit in July 2005 and continued till December 2005.
He then served as National Sales Manager from January 2006 to December 2007 at the company. Later, he served as Key Account Head for a year from January 2008 to December 2008. Chadha was then promoted to the role of Head- Retail and Customer Marketing from January 2009 to November 2010. Finally, he was appointed as Global Director in November 2010 and continued to served that role this October 2012.
Before this, he was associated with Britannia Industries for over seven years. He began his career with the company as a Management Trainee in June 1996. He then served as Area Sales Manager from June 1997 to June 2000.
Chadha then worked as Product/Brand Manager from July 2000 to May 2003 where he was responsible for all marketing, including media, spends for a portfolio of powerful brands. He then served as Sales Head – Western Region from June 2003 to March 2004.
