WPP Media Appoints Kartik Vishwanathan As Vice President – Investments

With more than fourteen years at Mindshare across India and China, Kartik Vishwanathan brings deep investment, strategy, and media leadership experience to WPP Media, having held senior roles spanning investment strategy, strategic initiatives, and integrated planning across global and regional markets.

WPP Media Appoints Kartik Vishwanathan As Vice President – Investments

WPP Media has appointed Kartik Vishwanathan as its new Vice President–Investments contributing to regional and global priorities through a special assignment with a strategic mandate.

He announced the same in a LinkedIn post.

Sharing his excitement about working with WPP Media again, he noted that the organisation has shaped a significant part of his professional journey over the years.

Prior to this, he spent over fourteen years at Mindshare from 2009 to 2023, most recently as Head of Investment Strategy for Mindshare China in Shanghai from December 2019 to October 2023.

Earlier, he held leadership roles at Mindshare India, serving as Head of Strategic Initiatives and Integration from 2018 to 2019, and worked at The Exchange in Mumbai as Principal Partner from 2016 to 2018 and Partner from 2013 to 2015.

During his time at Mindshare Fulcrum, he served as Senior Director Media Buying from 2011 to 2013 and Director Integrated Channel Planning MIS and Operations from 2009 to 2011.

Before Mindshare, he worked as Project Manager at Fractal Analytics in 2008 and Process Manager Pricing Analytics at eClerx from 2005 to 2008. His early career includes roles as Senior Team Leader at i2c World Inc and Customer Response Executive at GTL.
