Allied Blenders & Distillers has appointed Ramita Chaudhuri as its Marketing Director. In her new role, she will lead the company’s marketing strategy and growth agenda across its key brands and strategic business initiatives. The company announced her appointment via LinkedIn.
Chaudhuri brings more than 26 years of experience spanning strategic marketing, brand building, innovation, consumer engagement and business transformation.
Prior to this appointment, she was associated with Mahou San Miguel, where she most recently worked in the company’s Europe & UK Growth Marketing and Global Innovation team from October 2021 to July 2026. Before that, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Mahou India from January 2014 to March 2021, leading the brewer’s marketing function in the country.
Earlier in her career, Chaudhuri worked as Market Development Specialist at Carlsberg Group between April and October 2013. She also served as Director – Marketing at PharmaSecure from October 2011 to April 2012.
Between May 2009 and May 2011, she held the position of General Manager – Market Activations at Carlsberg India. Prior to that, she spent three years at BIG 92.7 FM, where she was Head of Marketing from May 2006 to May 2009, having also held responsibilities as Business Head – Kolkata and Regional Marketing Head – East.
Her earlier stints include roles at Hutchison Telecom, Lowe Personal, Wunderman India, Direm Marketing Services, and Lowe Personal (Lintas Direct).
