In a first, one of India’s leading food and grocery delivery platforms- Swiggy, has brought together the power, reach and engagement of influencer marketing, social media, WhatsApp and customer acquisition ability of its own platform to provide marketing services to its restaurant partners.
As per the company, the new offering has been rolled out on a Pan-India basis as part of Swiggy’s plan to solve for its restaurant partners’ ‘growth’ problem in the competitive landscape.
That being said, the new marketing services offered by Swiggy to its Restaurant partners aim to support them in boosting their online brand presence by leveraging social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and drive traffic to restaurant’s menu pages on the Swiggy app, leveraging hyper-local and behavioural targeting.
Talking about the rationale of the new service, Ajit Panigrahi, AVP- Restaurant Marketing and Growth, Swiggy, said, “Restaurants today face immense competition and need more than just great food to attract customers.
