Rumi Ambastha has joined Puresta as Marketing Head and has taken charge of leading the brand’s overall marketing strategy, brand building, and category development. In her new role, she has been responsible for driving the positioning of Puresta’s latest venture, SKINQ, which focuses on a science-led, AI-integrated approach to skincare.
She has shared the update on LinkedIn, announcing her move and the launch of SKINQ, describing it as a step towards redefining skincare through logic, measurable outcomes, and precision-driven beauty.
Prior to joining Puresta in February 2026, Ambastha has served as Vice President Marketing at Mila Beauté from September 2024 to January 2026. Before that, she has been Associate Vice President – Brand Marketing at Swiss Beauty from May 2023 to August 2024. She has earlier spent nearly five years at The Man Company, serving as Director – Brand Marketing from November 2019 to May 2023 and as Brand Manager from August 2018 to October 2019 in Gurugram.
Her earlier experience includes working as Deputy Manager – Marketing and Communication at HCL Healthcare India from June 2016 to April 2018 in Noida. She has also been Assistant Manager – Branding & Marketing at Manipal Hospital from May 2014 to April 2016 in Bangalore. In the agency space, she has worked with MullenLowe Lintas Group for over three years, first as Brand Services Manager in Mumbai from November 2010 to May 2012 and then as Senior Brand Services Manager in Bangalore from June 2012 to April 2014, managing brands such as Tata Tea’s ‘Jaago Re’, Garuda Foods and Beverages, Pepsodent, and Closeup. She has begun her career with Mudra Communications as Account Management Executive in Ahmedabad from May 2009 to November 2010, working on Paras Pharmaceuticals’ personal care portfolio.
