With over 21 years of experience, Amit Kumar Nanchahal has led corporate communications, sustainability strategy, brand reputation and global marketing communications across FMCG and mobility sectors in India and international markets.

PepsiCo Elevates Amit Kumar Nanchahal As Brand Communications Head – International Beverages

Amit Kumar Nanchahal has been elevated to Brand Communications Head – International Beverages at PepsiCo. In his new role, he leads global communications for Sting Energy and Mountain Dew under the International Beverages portfolio.

Nanchahal has been with PepsiCo since February 2019. Prior to this elevation, he served as Head – Corporate Communications, India and South Asia from March 2024 to January 2026, leading food and beverage marketing communications, sustainability communications, digital communications and internal communications. Between February 2019 and March 2024, he worked as Associate Director, heading food category and sustainability communications.

Before joining PepsiCo, Nanchahal spent over two years at Ola between February 2017 and February 2019. He served as Senior Manager, Corporate Communications from May 2018 to February 2019 and as Manager, Corporate Communication and PR from February 2017 to May 2018, leading corporate reputation, crisis communication, advocacy engagement and sustainability communication initiatives.

Prior to Ola, Nanchahal spent over nine years at SABMiller India from August 2007 to January 2017. He held multiple roles including Manager, Sustainability and Communication from August 2015 to January 2017, Corporate Communications Manager from August 2010 to August 2015 and Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications from August 2007 to August 2010, overseeing media relations, crisis communication, internal communications, digital strategy and stakeholder engagement.

He began his career at the Confederation of Indian Industry, where he worked as Executive Officer, Corporate Communications and Events from November 2004 to August 2007.
