Mayur Chandak has taken charge as Vice President – Head of Marketing at Lighthouse Learning Group, overseeing marketing for its Pre-K brands, Eurokids and Kangaroo Kids.
He announced this move via a linkedin post.
Before joining Lighthouse Learning Group, Chandak was General Manager at SUN PHARMA from June 2024 to January 2026, leading P&L, portfolio strategy, and brand equity for the nutrition portfolio with an annual turnover of over Rs 250 crore. During his tenure, he delivered 3.3 times growth in pilot states and engineered a digital-first relaunch using behavioral cohorts and data analytics, achieving 35% portfolio growth in a year through revamped e-commerce, social media, and digital marketing.
From September 2023 to May 2024, Chandak served as Senior Brand Manager at ITC, handling P&L, brand equity, and operations for the confectionery portfolio worth Rs 500 crore. Earlier, he led the D2C and e-commerce growth of ITC chocolates, coffee, and confectionery from May 2022 to September 2023, achieving 90% year-on-year growth, launching ITC’s first D2C brand site, and leading digital marketing teams across social, search, performance, email, and influencer channels.
Chandak also managed ITC’s new product development and innovation in health foods and beverages from October 2019 to September 2023. He directed a 4-member core team and 11 cross-functional members, designed and launched new digital business segments, developed a mobile app, and evaluated acquisitions in health foods and nutraceuticals.
Between January 2016 and September 2019, Chandak was Brand Manager for Sunfeast biscuits, leading brand planning and execution for multiple brands with an annual turnover of Rs 250 crore. He doubled the health portfolio sales, grew e-commerce nearly 100%, and modern trade by 35%, partnering with platforms like Google, YouTube, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, D-Marts, BigBasket, and Grofers to increase sales from emerging channels.
Chandak’s earlier roles include Marketing Manager for Bharti Airtel DTH business from 2015 to 2015, Lead Product Manager for Prepaid users in Airtel from 2014 to 2015, Sales Manager for Andhra Pradesh prepaid sales from 2013 to 2014, and Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte U.S. India offices 2010-2011, where he managed functional testing for insurance and security modules for a Fortune 500 client.
