Kedar Apte, Senior Vice President and Head of EV Charging Infrastructure at Mahindra Group, will be stepping down from his role next week. He spent nearly three years with Mahindra, starting as the Chief of International Operations for the Farm Equipment Sector from April 2023 – September 2024 before his current role.
Apte announced this shift via a heartfelt LinkedIn post.
Prior to Mahindra, Apte was Chief Marketing Officer at Jio-bp from August 2020 to April 2023. He spent nearly a decade at Castrol across multiple leadership roles, including Sales Director for the Middle East, Egypt, and Pakistan (April 2020 – August 2020), and Vice President Marketing (Chief Marketing Officer) for Castrol India and the subcontinent (September 2016 – March 2020).
He also held roles as Deputy Marketing Head for the commercial vehicles category and Category Head for motorcycle oils. Earlier in his career, Apte worked with Hindustan Unilever for nearly a decade, working in sales and marketing roles, including Regional Sales Manager (April 2009 to September 2011), Marketing Manager for the Popular Soaps Portfolio (July 2005 to April 2009), and Area Sales Manager (December 2001 to June 2005).
