Eternal, formerly known as Zomato, has approved a leadership transition following a board meeting held on January 21, 2026. The company has accepted the resignation of Deepinder Goyal as director, managing director and chief executive officer, effective from the close of business hours on February 1, 2026.
The board has appointed Albinder Singh Dhindsa, currently the Chief Executive Officer of Blinkit, as the Chief Executive Officer and key managerial personnel of Eternal with effect from February 1, 2026.
The board has also recommended the appointment of Goyal as vice chairman and director on the board. The proposed appointment has been for a term of five years and has been subject to shareholder approval.
