FMCG company Dabur has spent more on advertising during the full year ending March 31, 2025, even though its ad spends declined in the last quarter.
The company spent Rs 176.4 crore on advertising in the fourth quarter, 3.9% less than the Rs 183.65 crore spent during the same period last year. Compared to the previous quarter (Q3), when it spent Rs 226.7 crore, this was a sharp drop of 22.2%.
Even though Dabur spent less on ads in the fourth quarter, its total ad spend for the full year 2024–25 rose slightly to Rs 864.6 crore, up 1.8% from Rs 849 crore last year. Dabur shared its ad spending along with its quarterly results, showing a net profit of Rs 313 crore for January to March — down 8.4% from the same period last year.
Dabur’s revenue stayed almost the same compared to last year at Rs 2,830 crore, while its EBITDA fell 8.6% to Rs 426.8 crore.
