In a tribute to National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), Asian Paints teamed up with Ogilvy India to launch a heartwarming series of social media posts that blended the emotional resonance of poetry with the expressive potential of colours.
Throughout April, Ogilvy created original poems composed entirely using shade names from the Asian Paints palette. These verses, ranging from nostalgic reflections to contemporary musings, were shared across the brand’s digital platforms. Each post spotlighted a specific shade, transforming it into a narrative and making each story synonymous with a colour.
The initiative not only showcased Asian Paints’ diverse colour range but also positioned the brand as a storyteller, tapping into culture, emotion, and inspiration. The campaign went beyond home décor to explore how colours speak to human experiences.
Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, said, “Colours speak. Sometimes, they shout with joy, and sometimes, they whisper like poetry. With this NaPoWriMo initiative, we wanted to let each Asian Paints shade express itself through verse — subtle, evocative, and beautifully human. It’s a quiet celebration of creativity that lives on our walls and in our words.”
