Ashish Gupta Appointed As General Manager At MediaCom

Ashish Gupta took to LinkedIn, to announce his joining as General Manager at MediaCom.

“I’m extremely happy to share that I’m starting a new position as General Manager at GroupM Mediacom,” read the post.

This is Ashish’s second term with GroupM. He has already worked here from 2017 to 2019, in the capacity of a Digital Lead for the Northern region at Motivator. He is credited to having successfully led brands like tech brand Huawei, smartphone brands Honor and Lava, auto giant Honda, and electric equipment brands Havells, Lloyd, and Crabtree along with others.

Before this, he also worked with companies like Wunderman and Interactive Avenues, gaining experience of over 9 years.

Prior to being appointed as the General Manager at MediaCom, Ashish was working with Publicis Media as Senior Business Director, Media and Client Consulting from July 2019 to November 2022.

At Publicis Media, Ashish led the company’s digital planning & strategy for brands like Pharmeasy, Cholayil, Abbott Nutrition, Alcon, and many more accounts nationally from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore regions.
He was also responsible for the digital planning and strategy of the entire Dabur portfolio.

He has extensive experience in handling brands across a plethora of sectors like Technology, e-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Automotive, BFSI, Real Estate, Travel, Education, and even verticals like Matrimonial and Career Services.

Ashish brings to the table a rich work experience of more than 16 years in areas of Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, Digital Analytics, Programmatic Advertising, Integrated Media Planning, Search, Display, Social Media, and SEO with top media agencies in India.
