Ex-Twitter Engineers Are Building An AI-Powered News Reader- Particle.news

A team of former Twitter engineers, led by Sara Beykpour, ex-Senior Director of Product Management at Twitter, and Marcel Molina, ex-senior Engineer at Twitter and Tesla, is building an AI-powered News Reader- Particle.news.

As per reports, the startup was founded last year with an aim to make news readers on top of developments in an easier way via leveraging AI.

Over the weekend, Particle.news entered Private Beta mode and is currently allowing people to join the waitlist.

With Particle.News, the startup aims to offer a personalised and multi-perspective news reading experience. And hence, Particle claims that the usage of AI would only be for summarising the news and fairly compensating authors and publishers.

Beykpour took to X to mention that Particle lets readers understand more, faster— get up to speed with a bullet point summary, or go deeper and learn about how a story has unfolded over time.
