Adani Healthcare has appointed Himanshu Bhardwaj as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, he will lead the organisation’s technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery. He will also focus on using advanced technologies and digital systems to support the group’s vision of building world class healthcare infrastructure and improving patient care.
Bhardwaj announced the update via LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm for his new role.
Prior to joining Adani Healthcare, Bhardwaj served as Head of HIS and IT Applications at Medanta The Medicity Hospital from February 2019 to February 2026. During this period, he led the hospital’s health information systems and IT application strategy to support digital healthcare operations.
Before that, he worked as Senior Vice President at Intellect Commerce from July 2018 to February 2019. In this role, he focused on technology leadership and enterprise level digital solutions for the organisation.
Earlier, Bhardwaj held the position of Director at Virtusa from April 2016 to July 2018. During his tenure, he managed large scale technology programmes and supported digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
He also served as Vice President at Polaris Enterprise Solutions from July 2012 to April 2016, where he played a key role in leading technology delivery and strategic projects. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade with Polaris Software Lab, holding multiple leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President from August 2010 to October 2012, and Assistant Vice President and Executive Project Manager from February 2001 to July 2010.
Earlier in his career, Bhardwaj worked as Delivery Head at Polaris Retail Infotech from March 2005 to November 2006 and began his professional journey as a System Engineer at Eastern Software Systems from 1998 to 2001.
