Westlife Foodworld Limited has appointed Mehak Jaini as Head of Marketing for McDonald’s India (West & South). She joins the quick-service restaurant chain with extensive experience spanning brand strategy, consumer insights and global brand building across FMCG and advertising.
Jaini announced the new role via an enthusiastic post on LinkedIn.
Prior to joining Westlife Foodworld, Jaini served as Global Brand Equity Lead – Personal Care & Global Effectiveness at Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) from October 2024 to June 2026. Before that, she was Global Brand Equity Lead – Hair & Air from March 2024 to September 2024, leading brand equity and effectiveness initiatives across the company’s global portfolio.
Earlier, Jaini spent nearly 16 years at DDB Mudra Group, where she held multiple strategy leadership roles. She most recently served as National Strategy Head, 22feet Tribal Worldwide, and Vice President – Strategy, DDB Mudra Group from January 2021 to March 2024. During this period, she also held the title of Vice President from February 2020 to March 2024.
Before that, she was Vice President – Strategy from January 2019 to February 2020, Senior Strategy Director from July 2016 to December 2018, Director – Account Planning from January 2014 to June 2016, Manager – Account Planning from April 2011 to December 2013, and began her journey at the agency as Executive – Account Planning from June 2008 to March 2011.
With a career spanning over 18 years, Jaini brings expertise in brand strategy, marketing effectiveness, consumer insights and integrated communications to her new role at McDonald’s India (West & South).
