Instead of relying solely on launch videos and digital campaigns, vivo decided to take its latest flagship story outdoors.
To mark the launch of the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE, the brand transformed Hyderabad’s iconic Hussain Sagar Lake into the stage for a large-scale Flying LED Experience. Featuring a massive drone-mounted LED screen, the activation illuminated the city skyline with cinematic visuals showcasing the capabilities of vivo’s latest flagship devices.

The aerial showcase combined motion, light, and immersive storytelling, creating a spectacle designed to highlight vivo’s growing focus on imaging innovation and premium smartphone experiences.
At the center of the launch is the vivo X300 Ultra, positioned as the brand’s most advanced imaging flagship to date. Developed in collaboration with ZEISS, the device features a ZEISS Triple Prime Lens System, multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording, 60fps AF Tracking Snapshot, and support for the 200 mm and 400 mm equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessories for long-range photography.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs on OriginOS 6. The vivo X300 Ultra is priced at ₹1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant.
Alongside the Ultra, vivo also introduced the X300 FE, a compact flagship designed for users seeking premium performance and imaging capabilities in a more accessible form factor.
The smartphone features a 50MP ZEISS Main Camera, a 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera with up to 100x HyperZoom, ZEISS Multifocal Portraits, Street Photography Mode, and support for the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, the X300 FE also packs a 6500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless FlashCharge support.

The X300 FE starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at ₹89,999.
With the Flying LED Experience, vivo’s latest launch reflects a broader trend in smartphone marketing, where brands are increasingly investing in large-format experiential activations to create memorable launch moments beyond traditional advertising.
Both the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE are available through the vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and leading retail outlets across the country.
Continuing its commitment to the Make in India initiative, vivo stated that both devices are manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility, where approximately 8,000 employees contribute to the production of smartphones sold in India.
