Tata Power Renewable Energy has launched its ‘Choose Power That Protects Earth’ campaign on the occasion of Earth Day 2026, focusing on the role of everyday energy choices in shaping a sustainable future.
The campaign has presented a visual narrative using a split-screen format to contrast conventional energy systems with renewable energy-led solutions. It has illustrated how different choices can influence environmental outcomes and long-term energy resilience.
The film has showcased real-world scenarios across industries, rural communities, mobility, and households. It has highlighted the use of solar power, wind energy, microgrids, EV charging infrastructure, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in improving energy access and reliability.
The campaign has depicted challenges such as power disruptions in industrial clusters and inconsistent electricity supply in rural areas, while also presenting renewable alternatives that ensure uninterrupted operations and decentralised access. It has also compared fuel-heavy urban mobility with cleaner electric transportation systems.
It has emphasised that renewable energy solutions have delivered both environmental and practical benefits, including cost efficiency, scalability, and reliable power supply. The narrative has included examples such as rooftop solar adoption, smart energy management in homes, and EV ecosystems reducing mobility costs.
The campaign has concluded with a forward-looking view of cleaner environments and sustainable living, reinforcing the importance of conscious energy choices.
Tata Power Renewables has also crossed a total renewable energy capacity of over 11.6 GW, with 6.3 GW operational and 5.3 GW under implementation. Its operational portfolio has included 5.1 GW solar and 1.2 GW wind capacity, alongside a solar EPC portfolio exceeding 16.7 GWp for utility-scale projects and over 4.8 GWp in rooftop and distributed systems.
