Hersh Bhandari has resigned as Chief Executive Officer of Republic TV, bringing to a close a tenure of nearly seven years at the network. In his role, he has been responsible for steering the channel’s business growth, revenue strategy, and overall operations.
He has shared the update on his LinkedIn, writing that his time at Republic TV has been an “incredible chapter” where he has grown as a professional, learnt entrepreneurial lessons, and drawn inspiration from colleagues. He also mentioned that he will be taking a short break before embarking on his next professional journey.
Prior to joining Republic TV in December 2018, where he has served for close to six years and ten months, Bhandari has worked with several leading media companies. He was National Revenue Head at TV Today from April 2017 to December 2018.
Before that, he was associated with Times Network for six years, where he served as Vice President and National Revenue Head from April 2011 to March 2017, handling leadership roles at both Times Now and Zoom.
Earlier, he had a stint at The Times of India, following which he worked with Star TV Network as Marketing Manager from 1998 to 2000. Bhandari began his career in sales and marketing at Pepe Jeans London, where he spent over seven years from April 1991 to December 1998.
