Putting an end to his eight-and-a-half years long tenure at Google, of which he spent the last two-and-a-half years serving as Cluster Lead- Google Marketing Platform, Sahil Bansal has now joined Independent Sell-Side Advertising company- Magnite as its new Country Lead- India.
In this new role, he will oversee Magnite’s India business, whilst focusing on building strategic supply and demand-side relationships with the country’s key publishers and buyers, primarily.
He will be leading the Magnite team in India as part of this role and will report to Gavin Buxton, Managing Director, Magnite Asia.
During his more than eight years long tenure at Google, Bansal served across a slew of roles including Strategic Partner Development Manager- Large Partner Solutions, HEad of Programmatic- Direct and Large Partners (India), Strategic Partnerships Lead- Partnership Solutions (APAC), and Cluster Lead- Google Marketing Platform, all for more than two years each, starting August 2016.
Before Google, he was associated with citi for a period of more than five years. He joined them as a Management Associate in June 2011 and went on to become Business Development Manager in January 2013, Relationship Manager in April 2014 and E-Commerce and Digital Specialist in July 2015.
In the past, he also worked with companies like KPMG and Max India.
