X has launched a complete rebuild of its advertising platform, marking one of the most extensive overhauls in its history. The company has begun a phased rollout of the new system starting April 2026, introducing an updated Ads Manager aimed at improving campaign execution and performance.
The redesigned platform has been built around three core areas, simplified campaign creation, enhanced advertiser control, and improved AI-driven performance. The new system has integrated artificial intelligence to streamline workflows and enable faster campaign deployment while allowing advertisers greater flexibility in managing and optimising their campaigns.
xAI has supported the upgrade, which has incorporated advanced retrieval and ranking systems. These systems have analysed user behaviour more deeply to enable real-time, context-based ad delivery. The platform has shifted towards contextual and semantic advertising, aiming to improve relevance, engagement, and return on investment.
The company has also introduced a redesigned interface, with additional features and capabilities expected to roll out over the coming months. The update has focused on improving system reliability and enabling quicker integration of future innovations.
“Very few companies would have the ambition and technical courage to completely rebuild their entire advertising platform in such a short timeframe. This is classic X and xAI — bold, fast, and focused on building something substantially better for advertisers.” – Monique Pintarelli, Head of Global Advertising at xAI
“We are designing this new ad stack to enable more rapid and seamless integration of ongoing innovation. Advertisers can expect a smooth delivery of continuous improvements and a regular drop of new features as we keep pushing the platform forward,” Pintarelli added.
“We look forward to working closely with our partners as we roll out this next-generation platform,” Pintarelli said.
