Vanita Keswani Exits Madison World After Three-Decade Stint

Vanita Keswani has stepped into her independent entrepreneurial journey as a Soulpreneur at Happy Heart & Soul, where she has begun blending science, spirituality, leadership and digital transformation practices adapted for modern life.

The move marked the conclusion of her long-standing tenure at Madison World, where she has served in senior leadership roles for over three decades, most recently as CEO of Madison Media Sigma, managing P&L, driving media innovation, leading business development and digital growth, and contributing to the company’s brand image.

She has shared the update on LinkedIn, announcing her departure from Madison World and reflecting on her three-decade-long association with the organisation.

Before embarking on her entrepreneurial path, she has been CEO of Madison Media Sigma at Madison World from September 2015 to February 2026, based in Mumbai.

Between 1995 and 2015, she held the role of COO at Madison Media Sigma. Her career at Madison began in 1995 as an Account Manager on the Coca-Cola business. She has moved on to serve as Account Director on Godrej Consumer from 1997 to 2000, later becoming Business Director and General Manager between 2001 and 2012 with expanded responsibility for a larger client portfolio. She has been designated COO in 2012 and subsequently elevated to CEO in 2015.

Earlier in her career, she has worked with BCCL (Times Group) in Mumbai for over three years and eight months. From July 1993 to June 1995, she served as Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, working as Executive Assistant to the CEO of Times FM, Mumbai, while handling additional sales responsibility for the Bangalore market. She has been involved in planning and executing brand initiatives such as Times FM Carnival and roadshows, and has led the conceptualisation and execution of one of the early AFP radio shows, ‘Britannia Love is in the Air’. Prior to that, from November 1991 to July 1993, she worked as Product Manager for Bennett Group magazines including Femina and Filmfare, overseeing subscriptions, distribution management and marketing.
