Terrāi, a neo-Telangana culinary destination located in the heart of Hyderabad, has unveiled its brand film- a voyage into the soul of Telangana.

It is not merely a film, but a visual symphony that immerses the audience in the very essence of this magnificent land. Every frame pulses with the vibrant soul of Telangana- its rich traditions, its enduring culture, and its revered culinary legacy. From the lush landscapes to the heartfelt artistry, this film invites viewers to experience the unspoken beauty and depth of Telangana as never before, making it an unforgettable sensory masterpiece.

The brand film honours the state’s timeless allure, and its cultural and gastronomic treasures in a way that is both contemporary and reverential.

Set against the stunning backdrops of Zaheerabad and Narelu Tanda, Terrāi’s brand film transports viewers into the very heart of Telangana, bringing its lush green landscapes, vibrant arts, and passionate people to life. The film captures the spirit of the land- its people, its rituals, its culinary traditions- painting a portrait of a community that thrives on the shared love of its history, culture, and food.

The film celebrates Terrāi’s three guiding pillars- culinary, culture, and community. It is a tribute to the multifaceted heritage of Telangana, told through the simple yet profound rituals of cooking, gathering, and storytelling. By focusing on the real lives of Telangana’s people- its farmers, artisans, chefs, and families- the film makes a poignant connection with the roots of this extraordinary region, elevating the shared experience of food into something deeply personal and profound.

The brand film’s soul-stirring soundtrack, composed by the illustrious Sameer Rahat, blends classical poetry with contemporary soundscapes, elevating the film to a near-mystical experience. Rahat’s composition reverberates with the timeless cadence of Telangana’s rich cultural heritage, while also infusing the narrative with an emotional depth that is nothing short of transcendent.

The film is further adorned by the voice of Kinnera Mogulaiah, an artist and master of the traditional Kinnera, whose haunting melodies bring an unparalleled authenticity to the film. Known for his mastery of this ancient string instrument, Mogulaiah’s voice anchors the film in the earthy rhythms of Telangana, resonating with the timeless spirit of the land.

Speaking about the song in the brand film, Mogulaiah said, “This song isn’t merely a melody. It is a celebration of Telangana’s heritage. With every strum of the Kinnera, I want people to feel the pride, the beauty, and the history of our land.”

Speaking about the idea behind the brand film, Anisha Deevakonda, Creative Head and Partner, Terrāi, said, “There is an untold depth to India that many are yet to fully discover, especially within the Southern States. With an unwavering pride in our heritage and a deep respect for our roots, we realised the importance of taking ownership in presenting the rich tapestry of culture and history that defines Telangana. This understanding sparked the inception of Terrāi. Our vision was to craft a brand film that would not only celebrate the culinary opulence of our beloved home-State, but also highlight the region’s vibrant artistry, exquisite craftsmanship, and close-knit communities. This film is not merely a portrayal of a restaurant or a brand – it is a heartfelt tribute to the essence of Telangana: its people, its culture, and its timeless, unparalleled flavours.”
