Paytm has promoted Saurabh Agrawal to the role of Vice President (Business), marking the latest milestone in his nearly eight-year journey with the fintech company. He took to LinkedIn to announce his new role.
Prior to the elevation, Agrawal served as Associate Vice President II (AVP 2) from June 2025 to May 2026, following his tenure as Associate Vice President I (AVP 1) from July 2024 to May 2025. Before moving into the AVP roles, he was General Manager – Sales from April 2023 to June 2024 and Deputy General Manager – Sales from February 2022 to March 2023.
Agrawal rejoined Paytm in 2022 after a series of leadership positions across sales and business development. He served as Associate Director – Sales at BlackBuck (Zinka Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) from March 2021 to February 2022, and as Senior Director – Sales & Business Development at UrbanPro.com from July 2019 to March 2021.
This marks Agrawal’s second stint at Paytm. Earlier, he worked with the company for nearly two years, first as Manager from August 2017 to March 2018 and later as Senior Manager from April 2018 to June 2019.
Before joining Paytm for the first time, Agrawal held the position of Regional Business Manager at Reliance General Insurance from September 2014 to August 2017. He also worked as Channel Sales Account Manager at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company between February 2014 and September 2014, and as Assistant Sales Manager at GATI-KWE from May 2013 to January 2014.
He began his professional career at Infosys, where he served as Senior Systems Engineer from July 2007 to April 2011.
