Are you a fan of Netflix series? What do you watch on Netflix? Do you watch Hindi series? If yes, then you must have watched the popular crime thriller Sacred Games?

After the successful launch and the series getting in numerous followers, Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Sacred Games is ready with its second sequel, Sacred Games 2 and it is all set to launch on Netflix on Independence Day (August 15).

Though you might be well through the plot of the series but must be oblivious to a lot of interesting facts about the upcoming second season.

So let us know some unknown facts about Sacred Games 2 which will amaze you.

1. According to reports, the success of Sacred Games compelled Netflix to invest nearly ₹100 crore on Sacred Games 2, which is said to be the highest any streaming service has put in any original content in India. Usually, the investment on any web show is in the range of ₹3-4 crore (per episode) for 12 episodes.

2. Sacred Games 2 is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Massan famed Neeraj Ghaywan. Vikramaditya Motwane is the showrunner for Sacred Games 2.

3. Recognizing the importance of compelling writing, Netflix also established a writer’s room internally at the end of the first season of Sacred Games.

4. The web series portrays a cast of over 3,500 people, including extras, and was shot for more than 110 days in 112 location in Delhi, Mumbai, Nairobi, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.

5. The second season of Sacred Games is 400 minutes long, which is equal to three-and-half Hindi films.

6. Netflix has claimed that it has taken more post-production responsibilities to enhance the quality of the final products.

7. Although the much-awaited series will be released on August 15, OnePlus users will be able to watch Season 2 on August 14.
