Social Media Giants Will Work Hand In Hand To Remove Terrorist Contents From Social Platform

Internet is a crazy place. Nowadays with growth in number of social sites and number of people involved, Crimestoo are increasing. Time and time incidents have proved that this platforms are not at all safe.

The Big heads of the social media Facebook, Google’s YouTube, Twitter and Microsoft said that they were forming a global working group to combine their efforts to remove terrorist content from their platforms.

Looking at the present conditions and attacks, they said that they will work in union to remove any kind of terrorist content or hatred related post to rise against the serious social issues.

“will formalize and structure existing and future areas of collaboration between our companies and foster cooperation with smaller tech companies, civil society groups and academics, governments and supra-national bodies such as the EU and the UN”

The decisions mostly depend on the pressure from political conditions actually. Germany has proposed a law fining social media networks up to 50 million euros ($56 million) if they fail to remove hateful postings quickly. They are expected to implement new technologies that will keep in the database and also detect fingerprints and ids of people who are uploading extreme contents. A team will be implemented for the rules and maintaing them who will keep a close watch.

Facebook earlier did take a measure to stop hatred posts from politicians and counter parties. They also eyed on the profiles of militant groups that create propaganda for recruiting and also to impress masses with their words and posts.

Twitter will create trends for transparency and ask users for confirmation.

The social Media Giants confirmed of seeking help and working with small companies for this venture. Organizations such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies to work on ways to counter online extremism and hate. The users seen in indulging themselves in hatred posts will soon be guilty of cyber crime and account will be removed!
