Everyone likes to party, especially on special occasions like New year, people gather together to make the most of the moment. Snapchat is facing a tough competition from popular social media network, Instagram, but when it comes to celebrating, the company has no rival as its CEO Evan Spiegel has done something very special for the employees.

Evan Spiegel spent $4 million(Rs. 25.6 crores) to give a massive new year party to the employees of the company in Los Angeles. Evan even arranged a special performance from Drake to surprise the workers of Snapchat.

Evan was planning this party for long. He rented out Microsoft Theater and every venue facing Microsoft Square which included Katsuya, Tom’s Urban, Lucky Strike, Conga Room and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. One official from the company said “We’re excited to celebrate a transformative year as a team. Evan is personally sponsoring the night’s performance”.

Spiegel is not the first boss to throw such a big party to the employees. Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo also did something similar by giving a 20s-themed holiday party in 2015 in San Francisco, Google is also known for hosting multiple holiday parties worldwide to their workers.
