Entrepreneur and investor Nikhil Kamath has invested in One Hand Clap Media, a creative agency founded by former AIB heads Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan.
One Hand Clap helps modern Indian brands create standout ad campaigns, offering quick, high-quality production along with support for digital and influencer marketing.
The agency’s work spans across writing and producing ad films, creative campaigns and managing digital mandates. They have worked with Swiggy, Chetak, BGMI, Netflix India, Bumble, EMotorad, CRED, Ather and Prime Video India.
Shah shared the announcement on Instagram, reflecting on the company’s journey while marking the achievement of this new milestone. They reflect on a decade-long journey that began in 2015 with early viral successes and individual projects. Over the years, through collaborations, setbacks, and consistent hard work, they steadily built a shared vision. In 2019, they formally came together. By 2024, they had become an 85-member team delivering standout work in India’s advertising space. In 2025, they celebrate a milestone before continuing their journey of building with renewed focus and ambition.

“Nikhil gets our DNA, and our visions align. We both never cared for the status quo; we have always aimed to disrupt it, defy the metrics and algorithms to tell stories, not just campaigns for our clients,” said Aakash Shah, Co-founder of One Hand Clap.
“Nikhil’s investment validates our thesis that in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, speed and authentic storytelling are paramount. This partnership fuels our ambition to redefine the agency model, delivering impactful creative solutions with unparalleled agility,” Naveed Manakkodan, Co-founder, added.
