Nicktoon Motu Patlu Encourage Kids To Get Healthy This ‘ International Yoga Day ‘

International Yoga Day in Mumbai was celebrated by kids in a fun filled way. Motu Patlu, one of the most popular kids cartoon characters were seen performing Yoga along with kids.

Celebrity fitness expert, Mickey Mehta in collaboration with Motu Patlu helped kids to learn some Yoga poses.

What Was The Event?

Around 500 kids performed Yoga on Marine Drive along with their favourite characters from Nickelodeon. Kids from various schools came up to learn simple Yoga that they could practice on daily routine to keep them fit. The idea was very innovative to include Motu Patlu as kids got elated to witness them and thus interacted well. Assans like Butterfly, Starfish, Flower, Slide and many more were taught. Not only this, Motu Patlu also spoke about health issues and how to be healthy.

Riya, 3 years old, a resident of Marine Lines, said,

“I watch Motu Patlu every day and I had a lot of fun while doing Yoga with my favorite toons”

Yuvraj Sharma, 7, a student of Poddar Jumbo Kids, said,

“I hate waking up so early and I hate exercising but I had a lot of fun doing yoga with my friends and especially Motu Patlu”

Mrs. Bhardwaj, mother of two, from Cuffe Parade, commented ,

“Kids nowadays have so much of junk food, it is very essential that they participate in such fitness sessions. I couldn’t ever drag them so early, Motu Patlu made my job easy”

Mickey Mehta, celebrity fitness trainer, said,

“The present generation of kids are mostly occupied with electronic gadgets and digital devices. It is crucial to inculcate healthy habits such as physical fitness at an early age among kids. It is a great initiative taken by Nickelodeon to encourage kids with their toons Motu Patlu”

The parents were pleased on the fact that their kids were taught these yoga poses very easily and the smile on the faces of the kids showcased their happiness.

The kids had a fun-filled healthy session and vowed to practice these exercises on a daily basis in life.
