Media.Monks’ Chief Content Officer Azazul Haque Calls It A Day

Having assumed the role of Chief Content Officer at Media.Monks, two years back and serving it ever since, Azazul Haque has called it quits at S4Capital’s purely digital operating brand which combines media, data, social, platforms, studio, experience, brand and technology services.

Confirming the news to Marketing Mind, he mentioned that he will continue to work at Media.Monks till the end of next month, i.e- May. He is yet to decide whether he’ll be joining another organisation or go independent and start something of his own.

Prior to joining Media.Monks as its Chief Content Officer in April 2022, Haque served the role of Chief Creative Officer at Mullen Lintas from April 2019 to March 2022.

Before that, he was associated with Ogilvy for six years. He joined them as Group Creative Director in April 2013 and was elevated to the role of Executive Creative Director in September 2016. A year later, he was promoted to the role of Chief Creative Officer at the agency in September 2017.

From June 2011 to March 2013, he served the role of Senior Creative Director and VP at Contract Advertising and Creative Director at McCann from May 2010 to May 2011.

In a comparatively short stint, he also worked as Rediffusion Y&R’s Creative Director from November 2009 to April 2010.

He started his career with Mudra Communications in May 2008 by assuming the role of Creative Director at the agency.
