Leo Burnett India Onboards Wieden+Kennedy India’s Anirban Roy As Chief Strategy Officer

After being associated with Wieden+Kennedy India as Head of Strategy for one-and-a-half years, Anirban Roy has now joined Leo Burnett India as Chief Strategy Officer. In his new role, he will be reporting to Amitesh Rao, CEO, Leo Burnett- South Asia.

Leo Burnett India Onboards Wieden+Kennedy India's Anirban Roy As Chief Strategy Officer

Leo Burnett India, part of Publicis Groupe India, has appointed Anirban Roy, who had been associated with Wieden+Kennedy India as Head of Strategy for the last one-and-a-half years, as its new Chief Strategy Officer.

In his new role, he will report to Amitesh Rao, CEO, Leo Burnett– South Asia.

Prior to joining Wieden+Kennedy India in October 2022, Roy served the role of VP and Head of Planning (Delhi) at McCann Worldgroup from September 2021 to September 2022.

Before that, he was associated with Ogilvy for more than five years. He joined them as SVP and Head of Planning (Ogilvy One) in August 2016 and was elevated to the role of Head of Strategic Planning (South) in April 2018.

Prior to Ogilvy, Roy also served as Head of Strategy at Silver Machine Digital Communications for a period of more than one-and-a-half years, starting January 2015.

In the past, he was also associated with Saatchi & Saatchi and Bates CHI&Partners.
