Reliance Jio has announced it’s Monsoon Hungama offer which will allow JioPhone users to enjoy special recharge benefits. This offer will help bring down the monthly spends of existing customers by nearly 50%.

“There are currently 2 JioPhone plans available: Rs. 49 and Rs. 153. The Rs. 49 plan is a kind of trial plan with 1 GB monthly data, whereas our highest-selling plan Rs. 153 provides 1.5 GB data/day. We realised that there are some users who may want lesser data and therefore must get the plan at a lower price. Hence we are introducing Rs. 99 with unlimited free voice, 0.5 GB data/day and 300 SMS for 28 days”, said a company spokesperson.

Jio is also offering customers to buy the upgraded JioPhone at a price of Rs. 501 only. The company is taking this money as a 100% refundable security which will be given back to the customers after 3 years. Mukesh Ambani had revealed about these exchange plans during RIL’s 41st Annual General Meeting.

JioPhone has been updated with some significant features like compact design, 2.4-inch QVGA display, microSD card slot, alphanumeric keypad, four-way navigation, headphone jack, torchlight, FM radio, camera, and speaker. In addition, the voice assistant feature will allow users to command the phone for calling, sending SMS, opening YouTube or WhatsApp and browsing social media site etc.

Customers will also get a new SIM along with the JioPhone. To retain their existing numbers, users can opt for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to Jio in order to avail the Jio Monsoon exchange offer. This clearly shows that Jio is not going to stop impressing its users and will continue to be aggressive in its marketing.

Eligibilty criteria for exchange

  • Jio has set a simple criteria, the old phone for exchange should be in a working condition and without any damage. The offer can only be availed on phones which have been sold after 1st January 2015.
  • Customers are required to carry their old mobile phone, with battery and charger, their Aadhaar number and their MNP Jio number.
  • This offer is only applicable on the JioPhone and not on JioPhone 2.

Offering so many amazing things to its users establishes a fact that Jio will continue its approach as a consumer-friendly brand rather than a brand which only looks to make profits.

So, if you are looking to buy a JioPhone, the company has already started registrations. All you need to do is visit the company website and register with your basic details such as name, email address, area PIN code, and phone number.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
