Ipsos has completed its acquisition of The BVA Family, following regulatory approvals and employee consultations in France. The move expands Ipsos’ footprint in key European markets, particularly in customer experience, point-of-sale behaviour tracking, and public sector research.
BVA also brings deep expertise in behavioural science-led methodologies and global packaging testing through PRS IN VIVO — capabilities that will now scale further through Ipsos’ global infrastructure.
Ipsos France will now operate under the name Ipsos BVA. In Italy, the team will adopt the Ipsos Doxa brand, while in the UK, BDRC will be rebranded as Ipsos.
“We are delighted to welcome The BVA Family teams to Ipsos,” said Ben Page, CEO, Ipsos. “They now benefit from our global infrastructure, and the opportunities our scale brings them, while our clients will have access to new, innovative solutions. With our strong cultural fit and complementary set of services, we are poised to deliver even greater value to the businesses and organizations we serve.”
“This partnership allows us to leverage Ipsos’ international presence and solid competencies, significantly enhancing our capabilities to provide cutting-edge analysis and understanding of society and markets to our clients,” said Gérard Lopez and Pascal Gaudin, Chairmen of The BVA Family.
