Info Edge (India) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Jeevansathi Internet Services Private, has acquired 1,279 equity shares of Aisle Network, aggregating to 3.65% of its paid-up share capital. The Board of Directors of Jeevansathi approved the acquisition along with the termination of all existing arrangements with the seller. Following the transaction, Aisle will become a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Info Edge. The acquisition was completed for an aggregate cash consideration of Rs. 5.50 Crores.
Aisle Network, incorporated on January 10, 2014, operates multiple dating platforms including Aisle, Anbe, Arike, Neetho, and Jalebi. These platforms enable users to browse profiles and connect with potential partners. As of March 31, 2025, Aisle reported a turnover of Rs. 39.62 Crores, a net loss of Rs. 17.80 Crores, and net worth of Rs. 20.86 Crores. The company operates exclusively in India.
The acquisition is classified as a related party transaction, as the selling shareholder is a related party to Aisle, but the promoters of Info Edge have no interest in the transaction. The deal has been conducted on an arm’s length basis. No governmental or regulatory approvals were required for this acquisition, and it is expected to be completed within three months from board approval. Post-acquisition, Info Edge will hold 100% of Aisle’s paid-up share capital through Jeevansathi, consolidating its control over the company.
The acquisition reflects Info Edge’s continued strategy to consolidate its subsidiaries and strengthen its portfolio in the online dating and social discovery space. The company has also ensured the resolution and termination of all prior arrangements with the selling shareholder as part of the transaction.
