Harsh Deep Chhabra has stepped down from his role as Global Lead – Media at Godrej Consumer Products, concluding a three-year stint with the FMCG company.
Announcing his departure in a LinkedIn post, Chhabra thanked Godrej Consumer Products Chairperson Nisa Godrej, Managing Director and CEO Sudhir Sitapati, the company’s country heads and marketing teams across India, Indonesia, Africa, Latin America and the United States. He also expressed gratitude to the company’s agency partners, WPP Media, Madison World and Dentsu.
Before joining Godrej Consumer Products, Chhabra spent more than eight years at Mindshare. He served as Senior Vice President – Account Lead, Team Unilever from April 2020 to July 2023, after serving as Head, Media Planning and Media Buying, Team Unilever from July 2015 to April 2020. During the same period, he also held the designation of Vice President at Mindshare from July 2015 to April 2020.
Prior to his stint at Mindshare, Chhabra was Head, Trading Analytics at GroupM from April 2010 to July 2015. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Manager – Investor Relations at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited from May 2008 to April 2010 and as Senior Sales Manager at Zee Telefilms Limited from May 2006 to May 2008.
Chhabra has also worked with Turner Broadcasting System and Music Broadcast, the company behind radio station Radio City 91.1 FM.
