People understand products better, when they are conveyed to them effectively. Through advertisements and product videos, people are informed about its various features, uses and advantages, which make purchasing decisions easier. But it is not a case of one size fits all. Marketers experiment and use different ways of conveying a product message across.

Here are some ads which convey interesting and important messages that can be used to make product videos iconic, just like how they have become.

1. Slack

A brilliant product video, that gives the audience someone to connect with. The well-placed character of Brianna and using her schedule to explain about Slack’s use, engages viewers as they identify with her. A very fresh and well-executed concept.

2. Doorport


An apartment access app, that has used an animated video format, this product ad shows that information about your product can be conveyed without showing the real product too.

3. Soapbox

Another tech-based product video that did something different. It stated that the viewers are watching an ad, and this gave a tinge of humor to the entire product video. Though the ad is a little long, it gives some good insights on how storytelling can be used to showcase a product’s feature.

4. Purple Feather

A copywriting agency based in Glasgow, Purple Feather through this ad conveyed the importance of copywriters and that firing them when companies are facing crisis, is not a good option. Its words, on which the world runs, and a copywriter uses them to convey messages as needed.

5. LEGO

The brand which has children and kids as its target audience, needs appealing and fun elements to convey information about a product. LEGO through this video shows the importance of direct communication with a target audience.

6. Amazon Echo Dot

Th ad does convey a lot of the product’s features but not everything is said. This shows that it is useful to condense your message and follow up with more videos or information, rather than cramming up everything in one.

7. Tasty

The immensely popular recipe network, Tasty’s videos are simple and relatable. It just guides audiences seamlessly and many a times this is all a viewer wants. So, just keep it simple and don’t overdo.

8. Nespresso

The coffee machine by Nespresso holds the solution to your morning blues. And this ad by Nespresso is appealing and a visual treat. The ad conveys not just the products features but banks on the message of making one’s life better by just purchasing this coffee machine.
