Cheil India has announced its transition to Cheil SWA Group, marking a strategic restructuring to deliver full-funnel marketing solutions. The move positions the company to serve a wider range of business needs through a unified ecosystem of specialised agencies.
The group will now operate seven distinct companies focused on key marketing areas: creative and integrated marketing, digital transformation, data-driven performance, content production, retail design, influencer engagement, and technology implementation.
Carlos LimSeob Chung has been appointed President and CEO of Cheil SWA Group. The leadership team also includes Jitender Dabas as CEO of Cheil X, the group’s creative and strategy arm, and Mandeep Sharma as COO of Cheil India, who will focus on business transformation and CRM.
Originally established as Samsung’s dedicated agency in 2003, Cheil India has grown to serve a broader client base. The Cheil SWA Group will now consist of:
- Cheil India – Focused on Samsung, offering integrated marketing solutions.
- Cheil X – Serving non-Samsung clients with creative and strategic services.
- Experience Commerce – A digital and tech agency specializing in e-commerce and performance marketing.
- CYLNDR – A content production unit with in-house VFX and post-production capabilities.
- Digital Media & Influencer Marketing Unit – Handles performance, influencer campaigns, and D2C solutions.
- NewRx – Specialising in retail design and brand experience.
- Cheil GDC (Global Data Center) – Focused on data analytics and marketing automation.
The rebranding aims to break silos within marketing functions and deliver unified, measurable outcomes for clients. The group now offers services across the entire customer journey, from strategy to execution.
