A Banglore based startup named Wifi Dabba is providing Internet at unbelievable rates. Wifi Dabba, cofounder, Shubhendu Sharma says “Data cost in India is very high at present. We believe that even after the launch of Jio there is a lot of room for price wars to happen and we are certain that we can drop the prices even further.”

No app is needed to be installed to use this network. All a user has to do is provide their mobile numbers, fill in the OTP for verification, punch in the key and connect to the internet. The browser page opens and asks for the above details to confirm the customer.

Wifi Dabba is a licensed ISP and provides the data through small routers powered by fiber optics installed in small shops such as tea stalls and local bakeries in Bengaluru.

Their aim is to provide superfast internet to the users when they need it at cost as low as Rs 2. All the data plans are prepaid as they know that Indians prefer paying according to their needs rather than a fixed amount.

WIfi Dabba has already installed 350 connections and almost 1800 connections are in pending lists according to Subhendu. Below is a Youtube video featuring Wifi Adda.

The company founder also revealed his plans in an interview that he wants the IoT services providers to use their internet and make the country advance using technology.
