The world is shifting towards natural resource conservation. The scarcity of crude oil has been an integral topic of discussion amongst various governments. The current hike in the petrol prices can only be an indication of the speculations being true.

To fight the rising oil prices and to preserve our environment, there have been many automobile industries that have decided to make a change.

The world has witnessed the emergence of electric vehicles and many central governments are promoting their use of the same.

India has also become a hub for the EV market. People have been seen as very keen on buying one of energy-efficient electronic vehicles. If you are looking to buy one of the EV scooters, here are the top 08 electric scooters in India at present.

1. Ather 450X

Ather Energy is an Indian electric vehicle company, headquartered in Bangalore, and was founded by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain in 2013. Ather 450X is an electric scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 1,40,157 in India.

2. TVS iQube Electric

The TVS iQube electric scooter was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1.15 lakh. The TVS iQube is the manufacturer’s first electric scooter.

3. Revolt RV 300

The Revolt RV 300 is the entry-level model from the Indian start-up, RattanIndia. The electric street bike is available at a starting price of Rs. 1,04,019 in India.

4. Simple One

Simple Energy, a Bangalore-based company, has launched its first electric scooter, Simple One. It was launched with a price range of  Rs. 1.09 to Rs. 1.44 Lakh.

5. Bajaj Chetak

Bajaj Chetak is an electric scooter available at a price range of Rs. 1,39,301 – Rs. 1,42,297 in India and is available in 2 variants and 6 colors.

6. Ola S1

The Ola S1 electric scooter is the first electric vehicle product from Ola electric and is available in two variants, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The electric scooter is available at a starting price of Rs. 97,706 in India.

7. Hero Electric Photon

Hero Electric Photon is an electric scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 74,466 in India.

8. Bounce Infinity E1

Launched in 2021, Bounce Infinity E1 is an electric scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 52,940 in India.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
