Here’s How Much The Sharks Have Invested So Far On The Show

Shark Tank India has become one of the most talked-about reality television shows lately. The show is the Indian franchise of the American show Shark Tank. Many entrepreneurs have used the platform to present their ideas and deals on the show to the judges, or as they are called, the Sharks.

Many people have tried their luck and have been successful to convince the sharks to invest in their business idea. The sharks have collectively invested more than Rs 30 crores on the show so far.

Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is the co-founder and Marketing Director of BOAT which is one of the leading headset equipment models in India. Aman has invested the most in the show. He has invested in 25 startups a total amount of Rs 7.525 crores.

Peyush Bansal

Yet another prominent face on the judge’s panel of the show is Peyush Bansal who is the founder and CEO of Lenskart. Peyush has invested a total of Rs 6.346 crores in 23 startups so far.

Ashneer Grover

BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover is one of the most prominent Shark Tank India judges. Grover has invested a total of Rs. 5.143 Crores to date. This amount has been distributed in a total of 18 deals.

Anupam Mittal

Founder and CEO of People Group, Anupam Mittal is also the Founder of Shaadi.com and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer CEO of the company. Anupam made a deal with a total of 22 startups and has invested around Rs Rs. 4.78 crores.

Namita Thapar

Namita Thapar is a leading Indian businesswoman who is the CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Namita has successfully invested a total of Rs Rs. 4.683 crores in 17 startups.

Vineeta Singh

Vineeta Singh is the founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetic, a leading cosmetics brand in the country. She featured on the show comparatively less than the ones above. Vinita has invested Rs 2.2333 crores in a total of 9 startup deals.

Ghazal Alagh

The shark who has invested the least on the show so far is Ghazal Alagh. She is the founder of MamaEarth which is a leading beauty brand in India. She has invested around Rs 40 Lakhs in 3 deals on the show.
