The iconic motorcycle brand Yezdi made a comeback after an exit from the motorcycle market in 1996. After almost 25 years, the country witnessed the re-launch of the motorcycle in three different models. The penultimate bike for thrill-seekers in the 80s and 90s, this bike is still remembered as the classic symbol of adventure for riders.

It was bought to India by Farrokh K Irani and Rustom S Irani under Indianisation of the Jawa brand of motorcycles. The brand is owned by Classic Legends and popular auto maker Mahindra and Mahindra has a 60%stake in the company

The three variants are backed by liquid-cooled fuel-injected 334 cc DOCH single cylinder engine and every model will have a distinct power output and are mated to a 6-speed gearbox . The Yezdi Roadster, Yezdi Adventure and Yezdi Scrambler are all available at any Classic Legend dealership outlet at a price range of INR 1.98 lakhs to INR 2.09 lakhs.

1.Yezdi Roadster

Available in five different colours, the Roadster has LED headlamps and indicators and a digital speedometer along with dual cradle chassis and ABS disc brakes. This variant has 29.7PS and 29 Nm power output.

2.Yezdi Scrambler

With three switchable modes like Road, Rain and Off-road, this bike is available in 6 different colours. It has telescopic forks in the front and gas-charged twin shocks at the rear. The power output given by Scrambler will be 29.1PS and 28.2 Nm.

3.Yezdi Adventure

Adventure has a power output of 30.2 PS and 29.9 Nm. This bike will have its distinct range of customised accessories that can be attached as per the customer’s liking. It is available in three colours.

According to Classic Legends CEO Ashish Joshi, the biggest challenge for the company while developing the new Yezdi motorcycle(s) was to keep the spirit intact.

We also knew that the motorcycle riders have evolved over the last few decades and followed a very focussed approach. What you see now are three motorcycles ‘purpose-built’ for rider requirements across the spectrum. We have always been about redefining the modern classic segment in the country and have gone ahead and did just that,” he added.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country.
