Finding the right job has always been a task for us all. No matter how focused you are on your line of education and the field of job you want, being able to actually get selected for the right job is never easy.

Moreover, the pandemic has caused many layoffs resulting in people desperate to find a way to get a job again. Many have been stressing over how to get hired and have been updating their resumes to highlight their skills and achievements as much as possible.

However, there are some who are being as chill about it as possible. Playing it cool it may seem. A Twitter user shared a CV recently that had something unexpected mentioned as a skill.

A woman named Cat McGee shared a post on her social media handle talking about how a man added ‘googling’ as a skill in his resume.

“Got a CV today and the guy literally listed one of his skills as ‘googling’,” said the tweet shared by Cat McGee. “We’re interviewing him,” she further added.

In no time, the tweet got viral and people started wondering if the guy was really getting interviewed despite adding ‘googling’ as a skill.

In the guy’s defense, googling can be considered a crucial part of being on a research team. One needs to know his/her way around the internet in order to be more efficient. In fact, someone even mentioned that ‘googling just might be the most underrated skill.

Take a look at some of the reactions from netizens.

That’s smart. I met too many developer that cannot include that skill to their resume.
Also it gives an opportunity to ask questions about this topic while interviewing 🙂

Honestly, it is such an important skill to know how to do right. I wish this seemingly obvious skill was more normalized.

Googling = Self-teaching – which is what the real underlying skill there is.

Honestly I’ve run into way more people who can’t do it than I would have thought. I get all fancy and list it as “Internet research” on my CV though 😀

There’s *so much* information out there now, being able to locate the good stuff, make sense of it AND apply it really is a skill!

McGee also clarified in one of the comments that the candidate actually had a great CV which was why she chose to interview him.

If he responds then yes! But not just because of googling, his CV was great on top of that haha

What is the most unconventional skill set that you have mentioned in your CV?

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
