2018 has been a pretty lucrative year for Bollywood. Many films have garnered appreciation and proved to be surprising hits and Blockbusters. Not only in India but even in Overseas, the films performed really well and made the fans proud.

The year has shown that the small budgeted, content-centric movies can perform well as Hichki performed much better in Overseas than it performed in India thanks to the collections, it did in China.

Let’s have a look at the list of films which performed best in Overseas 2018 so far.

1. Padmaavat

The historic movie starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor did extremely well worldwide. It managed to earn 300 crores approx in India and 184 crores in Overseas.

2.Hichki

Hichki received great response from the audience worldwide. The movie was a Hit in India but it was the business in China which sets it apart. Interestingly, it is the 2nd highest overseas grosser this year so far with a business of 156.06 crore net.

3. Sanju

Directed by  Rajkumar Hirani starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanju fetched almost 150 crores net at Overseas Box Office. With a business of 147.71 crores net, Sanju stands on 3rd rank.

4. Race 3

Even after getting so many negative reviews, Race 3 still managed to earn 81.65 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

5. Thugs Of Hindostan

Another Bollywood underperformer that earned well at the Overseas Box Office. Thugs Of Hindostan is Bollywood’s most expensive film but it could earn only 65.9 crores net. However, it still stands on the 5th spot in the list.

6. Badhaai Ho

Another content-centric movie in the list. Badhaai Ho was loved by the audience in India and Overseas too as Indian movies are lacking such concepts. The Ayushmaan Khurana starring movie made Rs 45.02 crores net securing the 6th rank.

7. Baaghi 2

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2 made 43.59 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

8. Raazi

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Indian spy thriller Raazi gave fans of Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal another reason to cherish them.  Raazi earned 36.98 crores in the overseas territories.

9. Veere Di Wedding

The female-centric film, Veere Di Wedding had Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania and did a business of 34.6 crores net at the Overseas Box Office.

10. PadMan

Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte starrer PadMan stands at 10th rank with a business of Rs 25.52 crores net.
