Cricketer Virat Kohli has topped the inaugural Fortune India-Interbrand Most Valuable Celebrities list with a brand value of Rs 3,542 crore.
The ranking, published by Fortune India in partnership with Interbrand, has assessed the overall brand strength of celebrities beyond endorsement earnings and box-office performance. The study has evaluated celebrities on parameters such as engagement, distinctiveness, coherence, affinity and trust.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan has secured the second position with a brand value of Rs 3,017 crore, while actor and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra Jonas has ranked third with a brand value of Rs 2,507 crore.
According to the study, Kohli’s strong social media following and consistent association with health-focused brands have contributed to his brand value. The report has also highlighted Shah Rukh Khan’s long-standing association with brands, including his 25-year partnership with Hyundai, as a factor behind his ranking.
The study has noted that Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ work across acting, entrepreneurship, production and investments has helped build a diversified personal brand with global appeal.
The top 10 list has also included M.S. Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt and Allu Arjun.
The Fortune India-Interbrand study has been featured in the June 2026 issue of Fortune India magazine and has marked the first edition of the celebrity brand valuation ranking.
